Mr. Balestra has been working in Africa since 2011. He has been involved in various facets of the gold industry and active in the DRC, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Burkina Faso and Mali. Over the past 14+ years, he has worked with artisanal miners, bringing semi-industrial processes to their mining projects. He is uniquely qualified and has a keen understanding of how to operate within African political, logistical and business frameworks. He has developed numerous important relationships and supply chains throughout the continent. In addition, he has over 40 years’ experience in assisting and advising private and public companies; procuring funding and incubating organizations in various stages of growth. He has successfully transformed start-ups from R&D and product development to commercially successful entities.

Mr Sichundu brings a wealth of experience as Mamba’s Chief Metallurgist. He has spent the last twelve years as a senior metallurgist with the Geological Survey Department at the Zambian Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development. He is an expert in the extraction and beneficiation of minerals and has a complete understanding of all aspects in mineral exploitation and processing, from mining to separation to assaying.
Daniel Boase
As a large, minority shareholder of Mamba, Mr. Boase is bringing 25 years of resource sector experience to the Mamba Gold team. He is President of Bomon Capital Corp, a Toronto, Canada based merchant bank founded in 2005. Over two and a half decades, he has consulted with and raised funds for numerous mining and exploration companies in the Canadian and American capital markets. In his capacity as a consultant, Dan has performed roles ranging from financing and business development, to communications and marketing. He has worked with dozens of private and public natural resource focused entities based in multiple jurisdictions, including Africa, Central/South America, Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
